Pianissimo is rom the series Chromodynamics which deals with the location of the storage of our memories. We have one hundred billion neurons in our brains, with trillions of synaptic interconnections. The current neurobiologic explanation for the site of our memories is changes in the strength of synaptic interconnections. I do not think that is a sufficient explanation. We must also look at the quantum molecular level, and even further down into the strings of string theory. Thus, the fine details of this piece include the fuzziness of the quantum world and the fine strings of string theory.
I took one of my previous pieces from the series Symphonic Thoughts, and delved into the fine details. I looked at this piece, searching for memory traces, as one would use a microscope to explore neuronal pathways in the brain. The images that arose were stunning--fuzzy and uncertain, the world of the quantum, the world of string theory.
Doing the same microscopic investigation, and transformation, resulted in images reminiscent of Claude Monet's water lillies. So, delving deeper and deeper inwards, eventually you pop back out into the real world. A merger of the microscopic with the macroscopic.
These scarves should only be dry cleaned.
These are large-scale, 100% pure silk scarves, 140 x 140 cm (55 x 55 in). Given their size, they are more properly called wraps (skraistės in Lithuanian). Most designer scarves, at their largest, are only 90 x 90 cm (35 x 35 in). These are two and a half times that size.
The mulberry silk used is of the highest quality with twill weaving. The printing techniques are state of the art. All materials used in the production process are environmentally friendly, non-toxic with OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 certification. STANDARD 100 is the strictest environmental certification in the world. The company that does my printing has 13 years of experience and works only with silk, no other fabrics. This company’s Amazon rating is 4.7 out of 5. These scarves are heavy, durable and warm.
