While I was doing my neurology residency at the Mayo Clinic, I decided that I should delve into the psychologic mysteries of Sybil. She had become very famous by then, with a best selling book and a Hollywood motion picture about her.
She was an unfortunate woman who had multiple personality disorder (dissociative identity disorder). I decided to delve into her past life by visiting the house where she had lived in Dodge Center, Minnesota.
By the time I arrived, it was late at night. The photograph that I took of the house only showed lights through the windows--fitting darkness for the darkness of the theme being investigated. I used that image as the basis for this art work.

Mindfulness
These are large-scale, 100% pure silk scarves, 140 x 140 cm (55 x 55 in). Given their size, they are more properly called wraps (skraistės in Lithuanian). Most designer scarves, at their largest, are only 90 x 90 cm (35 x 35 in). These are two and a half times that size.
